  5. I disagree. Congratulations Bellevue!

  6. Haha if anyone deserves the title, it is Bellevue. Also, it helps when your coach is the Committee, so he has scouted all the teams so much he knows your game better than you do. He actually attended almost every single one of our league games.

  7. I'm on Aubrurn Riverside and let me just say that Bainbridge completely wipes the floor with us.

  8. ^if you were on Auburn Riverside, you would've spelled their name correctly

  9. Why does this blogger call himself a committee? It's just one guy's opinion. While I enjoy it and look forward to seeing how the rankings change week to week, keep it in perspective, it's just one guy.

  11. Thank you to the "Committee". It might be just one person (who is looking for help and has never hidden that fact) it's been great to be able to see what's going on with high school water polo! You can't rely on the Seattle Times for the extensive coverage we see here.

Want to help keep boosting water polo? Help with the Committee next year, help by becoming a ref (we need more and we need people to see how hard it really is...Seniors - girls season is coming up soon...you can earn $ while keeping involved with water polo!), help push the communities and schools for more pool time (and pools!), help support other teams by recruiting people for water polo regardless of where you live (and stop putting down the other teams), push for the newspapers to say more about water polo, help push the schools to be more supportive (hardest 'club' my son has ever belonged to!) and most importantly, support your coaches. If it wasn't for the coaches we wouldn't be here with such passion for an awesome sport!

Thank you to all of the coaches, the refs, the ADs, the boys, and their families who helped this be a great season!

  12. Don't think the committee can be the Bellevue coach, because posts were made directly following the championship game, while Bellevue was celebrating.
It's rude that people have been discrediting Newport's hard work as cockiness. They were a great team this season. Congratulations to Bellevue, they played awesome in the championship game.

  13. Congrats to Bellevue, they played great. As did many teams. There were a lot of wonderful competitive games in the Fri/Sat final eight. Thanks to all of you who helped bring this together!

  14. Congrats to Bellevue! The final game was great in that Bellevue pretty much knew every move Newport was making and adjusting as the game goes on! It is amazing to see how a dominant player on Newport's team (I believe his name is Lee) got shutdown and the entire Newport offense got broken down! The wolverines actually play like a team!

  15. I am a Bellevue fan and very excited about the team's first state championship, but Newport should be very proud of their season. They were the top team all year and it came down to no. 1 vs. no. 2 and it just wasn't their night.

I also appreciate the committee's hard work in keeping this fun blog going.
